Networking was the key at the Ponderosa. Like many business owners, motel operators are a tight knit group. Well…..the owner of the Ponderosa was looking to replace the phone system at the motel and had been talking with the owners of the 49er Motel. Questions went back and forth and Affordable Communications was recommended to replace the old and ailing system at the Ponderosa Motel.

Again we specified the NEC DSX phone system to meet their needs, as it provides an automated attendant, and remote programming functionality built in, which is perfect for their market. 

Installation was more complex this time, however when the cut over date arrived, down time was limited to under 2 hours.  Installation was completed and in a follow up visit we installed a remote ringer so the staff could be notified anywhere in the premises when the front door was opened.
