HopeLink Resource Center had a phone system failure and one of their board members asked them to contact Affordable Communications for an analysis of the existing hardware and their needs.
After a site visit and discussion with the management team, we recommended 2 systems and as we are finding more often than not, price won out. One more thing to do was to verify we had not missed any future needs, just to make sure the less expensive system would meet their needs today and into the future.
On Friday we arrived just after lunch and began the clean-up of the backboard where the phone and network hardware is kept. We then mounted the new hardware and towards the end of the day, we, move the phone lines and installed the new phones in the offices. A bit of testing, recording of new Automated Attendant greetings, creating documents and custom labels and all was completed by 6 PM.
We will be at HopeLink Resource Center Monday morning for training and to solve anything we might have missed.
